Italian beef is always a good idea for lunch or dinner. This place reminds me of all the old school hot dog spots that use to be around everywhere in the early 90's. Their beef is the best in the area hands down!

I've loved Roma's since I was a young child. My Grandfather that passed years ago went here before I was even born. Chicago's BEST beef hands down. If you haven't yet...get here.

Food was authentic Chicago, had 2 dogs with trimmings and order of fries. Couldn't even wait to get a seat and started. Servers were be genuine and helpful. Awesome

The last time I was here they wrapped our polish and hotdogs upside down and gave me a sliver of a tomato on my Chicago style hotdog. This time I got a little bigger tomato but no celery salt. There’s a young white boy with sandy brown/blonde hair that’s greasy looking and he was working both times. He maybe needs to be retrained. I expect more consistency. We’re in Chicago- please stop calling that a Chicago hotdog.

Great customer service! Tried the polish and Italian beef combo and it was standard nothing phenomenal and priced too high for ok tasting food.

So we came here as they were voted one of the best in Chicago for Italian beefs so this required a visit to validate said claim. We came on a weekend and it was pretty quite so we got our order right away. It definitely is a great place for a beef it was made to order and so it was hot and fresh. Will definitely come back when in the area! It's a must stop for anyone that wants to get REAL Chicago beef!

I can't believe it. I was charged over 7 dollars for a simple polish with nothing on it and a small drink. I didn't even get fries and still got hit with an ok polish for 7 dollars and some change. There's plenty of places on the west side that taste much better and give more for way less. No wonder it's not packed with customers on the daily like other places are. Definitely not going to Roma again.

Best Italian beef I’ve ever had, the bread is amazing!!! You can tell this place takes pride in the quality of food they serve! Will definitely be going back.

The food here was good... They were super busy the night we went and the guy felt bad we waited for so long so they threw in free mozzarella sticks.

There’s a weird smell coming from the beef. There is a lack of peppers on my sandwich. The inside of the restaurant was dirty and filthy. The beef has no flavor. The 2 stars come from the owner being very friendly.

They were closing but we drove more than an hour to be there so they were the bestttt and sold us food anyways and it was SO TASTY!! And everyone was super nice. I wish I live in Chicago to go there more often.

First time here. Got a beef. It was amazing. Soaked great tasting bread just the right amount of juice sweet peppers and awesome beef! Also got a polish which was equally as good! The owners behind d the counter were great as well. Go here and get what they are known for.... you will NOT be disappointed at all!!!

Depending on what you order and what you want either 5 stars or 1. For my buddy, 5 stars as their polish was exactly what he wanted. For me, for whom fries are a sacred trust and serving me a bag of soggy potatoes is frankly a killing offense, well, I wasn't happy. Still, if you aren't into crisp fries and you like sloppier fast food, this place hits your marks. The shakes were excellent also!

First, I ordered two Gyros and Italian ice. I waited patiently for my order just for it to arrive with ONLY ONE GYROS and MY ICE. Next, I order my food through Roma’s website but Slice delivered my food. While Slice customer service was great, the actual customer service from Roma’s was not accommodating being that the they missed up my order. First and last time ordering from them. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

The sausage pizza is really good. Italian beef made to order the way you want it. Fries are crisp and tasty. Everything is made to order so if you don't order ahead you'll be there a few minutes. Totally worth it.

This place should not serve gyros the meat was in crumbles. IT WAS HORRIBLE.🤢 This place died once it closed down.

Fred is awesome! We came for the Italian Beef and as usual, it was great! Fries have a unique flavor and we got a slice of sausage pizza scarfed it down! My mom said she used to take us there as kids and that started a great discussion with Fred and a couple of waiting customers that were very kind and personable.....Thanks, will be back k soon!

Meh. It's fine. I go around and try Italian beef from as many places as possible. It looses a star for the portion being so small for the price and not putting a lot of meat. It also looses a star for the price. It looses another star for taste. It just tastes like oil and the juice if that any just tastes like oil. I'm fairy certain they don't ever dip their sandwich as I didn't even see them dip. Overall it's nothing special. One star for it probably being editable and and another for.. Uh... It being editable again. Overall probably never coming back again but it's editable and if you have 8 bucks to turn on a single sandwich with nothing else is say maybe go for it.

Great environment with great servers. Their atomic combo was delectable and the addition of the spicier italian sausage made for a pairing made in heaven

Through a good experience I stopped in for a beef sandwich But the pizza looks really good so I got 2 slices in a Green River drink the pizza is really good and sausage connotation like home run in.

My family has been going here for DECADES and despite a change in management they had the original owners teach them how to to it ALL exactly the same. Just as good today as it was in 1990. Seriously the best beef in the city.

After going to Romas today for the 1st time in 15 years. They will be out of business very very soon. 3 beefs with fries $33 ,it was garbage. would rather be over charge down the street at Susie's ,at least it taste good their

I read somewhere they were on the list of Best Italian Beef in Chicago. So, of course, I had to try it. What I got was a pretty dry, basic Italian Beef sandwich, not really in the “Best Of...” criteria, IMO. The fries looked like re-fried unseasoned McDonald’s fries. On top of that, their pizza in the warming case looked days old.

Some of the best beef I've ever had. I stop here any time I am in town.
